Duane Fitzgerald Corp is a family owned business that has been building very high quality homes for over 35 years. We focus on a remarkable quality product with a great emphasis towards attention to detail. Our business philosophy is to assemble a team of craftsman who are at the top of their trade in expertise, who price themselves commiserate with their workmanship, and who are comfortable working in a team environment. We strive to achieve an atmosphere on a project that is enjoyable and productive for both the Client and the Constructors. We are available for Value Engineering during the Design phase, as well as complete construction services during the Construction phase. Duane Fitzgerald started his construction career in Michigan, where he restored and rebuilt homes built between 1870 and 1955. During this time he completed two certificate programs at University of Michigan for residential construction and construction management. He moved the business to Orange County in 1974. He has built or rebuilt over 600 homes since starting in 1971.

He is a disabled veteran, having served as a Ranger in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970. He received, among others, the following decorations; Silver Star, 4 Bronze Stars for Valor, Army Commendation for Valor, the Combat Infantry Badge, the Air Medal, and the Purple Heart. From the government of Vietnam he received the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. From the United States Navy, he received the Navy Commendation for Valor. He is a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
